Dan Yorke
I am the proud owner of this company and strive to make my customers happy. I have owned and operated all areas of floor covering over the past 31 years and now just specialize in hardwood floors. I am continually learning and growing with the business and all the product lines that are available; from domestics to exotics and solids to engineered hardwoods and unfinished to prefinished. I live in the community, have raised my family in the community and look forward to seeing my customers around town. It is important to me and my business that my customers are happy.
A Good Neighbor
I have always been active in the community. I was on the Board of Directors for the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce for six years and served as President in 1998. We proudly support the Shepherds Gate Women’s Shelter, a program that provides a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless.
Val Correia
Veteran team member Val has worked in the flooring industry for more than 30 years and has been working alongside Dan for over 28 years. She attended the inception meeting where she, Dan, and other employees developed the commitment statement and truly believes in the ideals of quality and integrity.
Val enjoys meeting and working with customers, finding the right products and visiting the home to measure and consider the suitability of their choices. She has a great appreciation for our installers, understanding that their skill and hard work is what we sell. Val believes that listening is a salesperson’s most important skill, she takes great pride in striving to understand both our customer’s needs and the project on hand. Whether I am selling Hardwood with Danville Hardwood or Carpet, Vinyl, Laminate, or Tile flooring with First Choice Abbey Carpets, I can use my experience of selling all different flooring products to help the customer find the best possible options for their needs. “I love a happy customer!”
Scott Peck
Salesman and lifelong supporter for Danville Hardwood, Scott finds great joy in providing his clients with the best customer service and flooring fit for their dream home. You can always find him in our showroom assisting customers with their every need. Our team of installers count on Scott to help them with questions regarding their work orders, job location, material and professionalism on every site. Scott’s natural friendly manner makes him a favorite of customers and the team as well. New to the industry, he has absorbed a great deal of knowledge in a short time and continues to learn. He is always happy to help, be it customers or coworkers. As a voice on the phone or in person in the showroom, Scott is well received by our customers.
Penny Davis
A Danville native of 22 years and active member of the community. Before joining the Danville Hardwood time in 2015, she was the president of the Parent Teacher Association and president of the National Charity League. Penny has over a decade of experience in service with companies such as; Discovery toys and Equitec as a manager of customer service. As the anchor of Danville Hardwood, Penny is an expert in administrative services. We have been lucky to have her working in customer service for our company for many years. This tennis and Cal Football fanatic loves to spend her spare time volunteering for children’s schools, sports teams and charity organizations.
Myles Nutter
Flooring is a crucial element for any space. We give our full effort to help you choose and install it correctly. With 14 years in the flooring trades and over 20 years in construction, Myles brings knowledge and experience into his role as Project Manager. He analyzes every job detail for our clients to assure a smooth work flow and complete satisfaction for our clients. Myles grew up all over the country in a military family, but has chosen California as his home. It has now been 15 years living here. He has a wife and three children that call the Bay Area home. Myles enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, exploring the outdoors, and coaching or watching basketball and football.
Debbie Guilford
The gear that keeps Danville Hardwood running as our expert administrative and program analyst. she specializing in data entry and material tracking, to make sure you always get your order on time. In addition, Debbie is a pristine customer service representative who enjoys helping all our patrons with their ever need. If she is not volunteering at the Danville Library bookstore, you can find her spending time with her family at their cabin in Big Trees or attending a San Jose Sharks Game!
Gracie Yorke
This recent mother of 9 is the heart and official mascot of Danville Hardwood Flooring Company. She spends her days working hard at keeping our company morale going and greets customer with a big wet kiss and a wagging tail. In her spare time she enjoys begging for treats, belly rubs, and tennis balls.
